Karen Garner

Karen Garner teaches and writes in the fields of international history and women's and gender studies at SUNY Empire State College in upstate New York. She is a Fulbright Scholar and the author of four books: Precious Fire: Maud Russell and the Chinese Revolution (University of Massachusetts Press, 2003); Shaping a Global Women's Agenda: Women's NGOs and Global Governance, 1925-1985 (Manchester University Press, 2010); Gender and Foreign Policy in the Clinton Administration (Lynne Rienner First Forum Books, 2013) and Women and Gender in International History: Theory and Practice (Bloomsbury Academic Press, 2018).
