Section B1: Education

I was born on Dec. 24, 1938 in Brooklyn N.Y. I went to P.S. 25 in the Bedford Stuyvesant section where I received the Mathematics medal. Teachers used to call me little Einstein.

I went to Brooklyn Tech H.S. and graduated in 1956. I lived in the Fort Green Projects across the park from the school. I took the electrical course and received the only 100 percent on the statewide Electrical comprehensive.

I went to the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn at night from 1956 to 1966. I graduated B.S.E.E. (summa cum laude)

I lived in various locations in Brooklyn N.Y. while raising a Nephew since I was eighteen and he was three. I was like a working mom as I sent him to day care while going to work. I was lucky to find a young woman who was willing to take me and my nephew, and we got married in 1965 while I was finishing my education.

Section B2: Work experience

I worked at Con Edison as an Engineering Design Assistant from 1956 to 1962. I designed the 4KV transmission lines and sub-station interconnections for the East Bronx section of N.Y. I also designed the 13KV distribution system for Freedom land Amusement Park which later became Co-Op City.

I worked for the City of N.Y. as an Assistant Engineer from 1962 to 1967. I designed the lighting and modernized the electrical system on the Hutchinson River Parkway as the City went from incandescent lighting to mercury vapor lighting. I redesigned the lighting for the 59th street Bridge. I worked on many street lighting improvements and many small underpasses and, overpasses. I redesigned the Rockaway Boardwalk lighting after a hurricane destroyed the old system.

I worked for Sperry Rand of Great Neck Long Island as an Associate Engineer from 1967 to 1970 I worked on the old WDE military system and designed improvements to make it work better. I worked in both the test department and the Radar Research Department, and solved many problems on many systems. I left the job when the atmosphere deteriorated and many people were being laid off.

I worked for the Port of N.Y. Authority in Manhattan as an Engineer from 1970 to 1972. I designed the new aircraft fuel pumping control system for J.F. Kennedy Airport. I worked on airport tower lighting for Kennedy and LaGuardia airports. I also checked and approved the underground lighting for the Lincoln Center parking garage.

I worked for the Sperry Rand Radar Research Department as an Engineer from 1972 to 1993. Sperry was rehiring and I preferred to work there instead of the commute to the City since my house was in Plainview Long Island.

I designed the control system for the five inch guns for the Aegis class destroyers. The Navy called my system the “Maytag” because it worked the first time and every time. I worked on the sonar system and solved many problems on the Polaris missile system. I was the Engineer in charge of the first group outside of Univac to build the UYK 44 Univac computer and get it working. I worked with physicists on the ring laser gyro. I also worked on the Nexrad weather radar. When the company was Sperry Rand it was a great company. Things got bad when it became Unisys and huge layoffs occurred and the company downsized greatly. In 1993 the company was no longer doing any new and interesting work. They no longer had any need for their best engineers and there was a big layoff of 250 engineers in 1993 which caused me to retire early at age 55.

When I retired in 1993 I went to work on The Dot-wave Theory and other Theories which I had begun in 1981. I moved to Virginia Beach into a larger house with very low taxes as compared to Plainview N.Y. In addition I started a part time handyman business since I always enjoyed fixing things and painting. I always found various assistants to help with my small business. My reduced pension, my shrinking 401K, my small business and the profit on the N.Y. house held me over until my Social Security came in. With reduced income and property taxes, I found out that my retirement take home pay was the same as when I worked.

Section B3: Publishing experience

After the layoff, I was free to work on my Dot-wave theory which I had started in 1981. I then self-published many books by using my small publishing company “Starway Scientific Press” and sold some on the internet and gave most away. This was expensive as McNaughton & Gun charged over $5,000 to print 1000 to 1500 books.

As I moved from New York to Virginia Beach in 1993 I made a nice profit on the house which helped me over the years. When I moved from Virginia Beach to Cary N.C. in 2008, I also made a nice profit on the house. Finally when I moved from Cary N.C. to Sanford N.C. in 2014 I lost a little money on the house. The extra money always helped with the books and other expenses. Over the years it cost me over $20,000 for the self-publishing effort which I never recovered since sales were always low. It did become a tax break which helped somewhat.

Section B4: Life in North Carolina

Times changed since Create Space and Kindle allows me to self-publish my latest books at basically zero cost. This is very helpful since I no longer have profits on the houses to pay for the books and other expenses. The last two years I rented a small single wide for very low rent from my older daughter Debbie who lives on the same land with her husband.

I used my handyman talents to add modern bathrooms and cabinets. My place is small but I have a nice screened in front porch, an enclosed rear porch and a large shed which I built.

In December 2015 I had surgery for an abdominal aortic aneurism which the doctors had discovered the year before. As I was on the operating table I realized that I had failed to present a good enough case on my dot-wave theory. When I got home the next day I was determined to rewrite my theory and I produced “The Gravitational Wave and the Dot-wave theory”.

This was an updated copy of my “Gravity and the Dot-wave theory.” However it was basically my “Doppler Space Time” as far as the variation of the constants of the universe with time was concerned.

After discussing my ideas on “The Naked Scientists” with various scientists on the Cambridge University web site, I became convinced of the validity of Einstein’s work and the time dimension.

In addition as various Professors of physics asked for a copy of my book and sent me their comments, I realized that my work was not adequate. My basic conversion of mass to charge did not change. My numerical analysis of the relationship between the gravitational constant and the electrical permeability constant did not charge. However the variability of space and time with time did change.

I decided to explore Einstein’s relativity. I still used the Doppler Equations as I always had but I came to believe that the rest mass of an object never changes. This means that the inertial mass exists in the time dimension.

I had studied Einstein’s book in 1981. Yet at that time my brain was in a hyper manic mode as I searched for the mass to charge velocity conversion and the numerical relationship between the constants. My bipolar brain was really not capable of quiet calm thought.

I could solve problems but I did not have the ability to calmly study Einstein’s work. Over the years my high speed brain has slowed. I still get hyper manic at times but for 1981 to 1983 I was super hyper manic. I go high and then normal but never low.

If my brain goes high I can go for long walks and burn off energy. Then I return to normal. However my brain will flash with energy and I will go high again readily. At 77 years, my brain no longer has the capability to go to a super high state.

Lots of tea and cigarettes used to feed my manic brain. I stopped smoking at 55 for medical reasons. It took many years for my lungs to clear. My heart was affected as well and since retirement I walked a school track behind my house. From 1994 to 2004 I walked the track and my lungs and heart improved greatly. However the surgeon said the aneurism was the result of my earlier smoking.

So I am in the process of using Einstein’s work and my Doppler modifications of his work plus the Dot-wave theory to produce a new version of my Gravity book.
