Taylor is President and Chief Executive Officer of Babson Farms Inc., a family office with operating businesses in agriculture and insurance, diverse real estate investments, mineral interests and public and private equity investments.
Every year he does something to flex his muscles outside of work, family and community. He created a fake school on the internet that got applications from foreigners that didn’t know any better, he was a Foreign Service Officer Candidate, a licensed auctioneer and appraiser, a runner-up in the Massachusetts Arm Wrestling Tournament, an author, a fly-fishing guide, a sommelier, a patent holder, a stand-up comedian, an artist, Mensa, and he has appeared on Shark Week. Only one of those things is a lie.
The first book he published, Worthwhile, won the Colorado Independent Publisher Association's award for the best children's book of 2002.
He has been married for almost 15 years to Molly, and they have a 9-year-old boy, Henry, who loves minerals, fossils, swimming, and his dog, Chilly.
Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts in French from Middlebury College and an International MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
