James Gilbert

James Gilbert's remarkable, wide-ranging career has taken him to sixty-one nations on five continents, with special emphasis on Eastern Europe and the Middle East. A respected analyst of geopolitics and cultural shifts, he predicted as early as 1983 the break-up of the Soviet empire, the demise of Eastern European communism, and the surge of "green" socialism of Western Europe.

Gilbert is the author of six books. His latest is "Unmasking ISIS: Defeating the Terrorists Who Want to Destroy the World," coauthored with Dr. Terry Law. Gilbert is also the author of "Storm Chaser: The Terry Law Story." Together, Gilbert and Law have collaborated on two other books, "The Hope Habit," in 2010, and "The Power of Praise and Worship," in 2008. James' first book, "How A Man Stands Up For Christ," was released by Bethany House Publishers. He also recently coauthored and cohosted "The Worldview Course," a 13-week video course for small-group discussion.

James resides with his family in Florida.
