Jamie is a health educator and weight management coach specializing in helping busy (and hungry) people eat nutritiously conveniently. She has a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and has worked in the Wellness field for over 30 years. Her popular "Quick and Healthy Meals from Costco and Trader Joe's" class has inspired her to write healthy Trader Joe's cookbooks and her "Simple and Healthy Crock Pot" classes also inspired her to create healthy recipes (Simmering Solutions Healthy Slow-Cooker Recipes) using the crock pot when there were few.
Jamie teaches the tools and skills she used to lose and keep off 50 lbs. to her weight management clients. In her "Livin' Lean with Trader Joe's" cookbook, Jamie shares her weight loss program as well as provides recipes for breakfast, lunch, snacks, appetizer, dinner and dessert, 100-calorie snack suggestions and menu plans using Trader Joe's foods for two 1400-calories/day weekly menus and shopping lists.
