Michael B. Dougan

Michael B. Dougan hails from Neosho, Mo. His BA was from Southwest Missouri State College and his doctorate from Emory University. He taught at Arkansas State University from 1970 to 2005. The author of books and articles on various fields Arkansas history, he regularly presents Professional Development workshops for school teachers and CLE for the Arkansas bar. He is an expert on oil and gas mineral rights in Arkansas and has written extensively on other legal issues. He is available to speak on the Civil War, opera singers, gun legislation and many other topics when not playing softball.
