Lynnette Baughman

Lynnette Baughman lives in Sequim, Washington, on the north coast of the Olympic Peninsula.

She got her start writing for newspapers and magazines, then wrote four mysteries, "A Spy Within" and "Lost Almost," set in the town she lived in for many years, Los Alamos, NM, and two Olivia Wright mysteries set in Las Vegas, NV. Titles of those are "Thin Disguise" and "Vegas Centennial."

In 2008 her first romance, "Love with a Welcome Stranger," was published by The Wild Rose Press. It won the 2009 Eppie Award and 2009 Write Touch Readers' Award (both in the contemporary romance category). Sequels "Lovin' Montana" and "Bed, Bath & Beloved" came out in 2008 and 2009. All three are set in northwest Montana.

Her latest book, "Silent Witness," is a thriller set in Seattle.

When she's not writing and reading, she likes to ski. Favorite ski areas are Park City Mountain Resort (Utah), Vail (Colorado), and Big Sky Mountain Resort (Montana).
