Rick Spier

Rick Spier is the Author of "O'Sullivan's Odyssey," a novel of historical fiction. He was born in Toccoa, Georgia, is proudly of Irish ancestry and has deep roots in the Appalachian highlands. He grew up in Atlanta and is now an expatriate Southerner living in Seattle. Dartmouth College, from which he graduated in 1978, was the defining experience of his life and opened his eyes to the beauty that surrounds us. His dictum is that life is art and art is life, and his goals are to be a good father, husband, brother and friend, to do no harm, and to learn as much as he can before he dies because, who knows, but that you just might be able to take it with you.
