My most sincere ambition since childhood was to have my own Dewy Decimal number as a published author. Now I have that. As I lay in the hospital bed recovering from a heart attack ten days before my fiftieth birthday, the one comfort was that I had accomplished that sole ambition during my father's life.

My girlfriend of 30 years remains with me as my provocateur of both physical and intellectual execrise in all forms. Patricia had been close to many great authors and a terrific writer herself, a retired SAG actress she has been a great editor of my mind and thought processes as well as my writing.

At the very least, if I had been born of another century, I could be found telling stories on a street corner for coins; for I love the research to launch a story and under the handle of fiction can take the details from my own adventurous life. I only wish to entertain; or not.

My intention is to provide a paradigm for dialogue in an appeal to satiate an intellectual appetite.
