Steve Heiting

Steve Heiting is the managing editor of Musky Hunter magazine, North America's largest magazine dedicated to musky fishing, and is one of the sport's best-known anglers.

Steve has written three books. His passion for hunting led to his newest book, "Hunting Northwoods Bucks," which was released in May 2014. Other books include "The Complete Guide to Musky Hunting" which he co-wrote with Jim Saric; and "Musky Mastery: The Techniques of Top Guides," which is available in print in a 25th anniversary edition, as well as an e-book through Amazon Kindle.

In addition, Steve has edited or contributed to 21 books about musky fishing. He is a well-known seminar speaker and musky fishing instructor. A regular guest on "The Musky Hunter" TV show, Steve has produced five instructional musky fishing DVDs.

Steve has written more than 300 articles that have appeared in more than two dozen magazines covering the outdoor sports, including Outdoor Life, Deer & Deer Hunting, Musky Hunter, Wisconsin Outdoor News, Wisconsin Outdoor Journal, and others.
