Chris was born in Olympia, WA and grew up in Tacoma, walking through the woods to school every day. He later moved to suburban San Jose, CA, deep in the land of sidewalks and swimming pools, where he became an avid bicyclist and soccer player, even traveling to play in England as a teen. He attended a year of college at UCI in Irvine, CA.
His first published book, A Walk in the Garden, went through its final lengthy revision in a giant, haunted, three story cement pillbox of a house next to a graveyard on a former commune in Creswell, OR.
Chris usually works in sales, currently in RV's (fun!), formerly home furnishings, diamonds, insurance, pianos, and anywhere he can stay warm and dry and make a quick buck. He has worked as a programmer, game and website designer.
