Nick Shears

Nick Shears is a long-time writer with a love of tall tales and adventure. He's thrilled that his most recent book, Gnome Mountain, has been praised by kids and parents alike for its zany plot and entertaining, memorable gnome characters. This is Nick's first novel. Earlier he co-wrote and published Paddle America: A Guide to Trips and Outfitters in all 50 States. He also edited and published Ocracoke: Its History and People, an oral history of Ocracoke Island written by his father, David Shears, a career journalist.
