Thank you for your kind reviews of 'Justified'. My intention was to have the first mega-chapter of 'Frozen Tundra' out by May 2016, but my characters asked me if they could take a break which I agreed to; this means the next story will be available in July 2016.
I'm now into the fifth book in the "Is this it?" series that starts with The Yellowstone Conundrum which covers Day 1 following the eruption of the Yellowstone caldera. The second book in the series is titled Scorched Earth which take us through the first week, which in turn is followed by Torn Asunder as the raging waters long the Snake and Missouri/Mississippi Rivers reach their destinations. Torn Asunder follows our characters through the first month. Fourth in line is Justified which covers the first three months afterwards including attacks by ISIS and the spread of the Ebola virus. The fifth book is titled 'Frozen Tundra' and takes our characters into the climate changes caused by the Yellowstone eruption.
My previous books were The Hatterask Incident, The Jihad Ultimatum, The Tojo Virus and Jonathan's Song.
Retirement 1.0 was in Hoover, Alabama where we ran two bridge clubs before deciding to expand retirement into 2.0 by moving to Costa Rica where our bridge club is in the back of a local bar! We continue to return to the states to attend bridge tournaments several times a year.
Most of the "W" portion of Life 1.0 was spent with IBM and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. I'm a fan of Alabama/Auburn college football and the Atlanta Braves.
The people here are friendly and there is a large middle class. While you don't come to Costa Rica to save money (about the same as US) you do come here to get away from differences in politics, religion, and race. The Ticos (what they call themselves) appreciate your attempt to learn Spanish.
Best wishes, good reading and "pura vida!"
