Jayna Miller

Jayna Miller Schneider was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. At the age of 19, she won the Gold Award in the National Written & Illustrated By Contest for Students. Her book, TOO MUCH TRICK OR TREAT, was published in 1990 and reprinted for the eighth time in 2005. It was also a nominee for Ohio's Buckeye Children's Book Award.

A child artist and writer, Jayna began writing books at age 7. After her book was published, she welcomed the opportunity to travel and speak to groups of school children about her passion, creating picture books. To date, she has spoken at over 1,200 schools, conferences, and libraries nationwide.

She is Art Director for Landmark House Ltd. and is currently collaborating on a narrative nonfiction book with another author.

She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her family and is an avid runner.
