John A. Cuthbert

John A. Cuthbert is Director of the West Virginia and Regional History Center at West Virginia University. A graduate of Worcester State University, the University of Massachusetts and West Virginia University, he has written extensively on many topics in West Virginia history. A WVU Benedum Distinguished Scholar, he is a recipient of the Charles Daugherty Award, from the West Virginia Humanities Council, and the Annual Literary Merit Award from the West Virginia Library Association.
