Christopher S. Cain

Christopher S. Cain bought a seaside villa at Kiawah Island, SC, in 1981 and wrote his first book, Maximize Your Resort Property Investment in 1984. In 1998, he wrote a sequel, Road Map to Your Vacation Property Dream. In 2015, he completed "the Trilogy" with Your "Made in the USA" Vacation Home.

He grew up in Cleveland and received a BA degree from nearby Hiram College. Cain earned an MSJ (Journalism) degree from Northwestern University in 1971. He served as a newspaper editor, as a World News Correspondent for McGraw-Hill Publishing, in Communications at Eaton Corporation, and as an Account Executive at Burson-Marsteller.

Cain moved to Orlando in 1987 and was hired to launch a Media Relations initiative for the Florida Association of Realtors. Later, he taught "Writing for Public Relations at the University of Central Florida as an adjunct profession, and has been a Realtor specializing in vacation property near Disney.

He and his wife Terry live in Oviedo, an Orlando suburb.
