Carla Wallach

Carla Wallach is a writer and author of five books. She has written for The New York Times and other newspapers as well as numerous national publications on women's issues. For 25 years she was a monthly op-ed columnist for the Stamford Advocate and Greenwich Time. With her experience as a fashion copywriter, she co-founded a successful New York advertising agency handling products for women, a rarity at the time. She was born in Brussels, Belgium, of a French mother and aristocratic Swedish father, educated in France, England and The United States.
