Matt Barney

Matt Barney, Ph.D. is an award-wining Organizational Psychologist, serial entrepreneur and founder of XLNC, that invented TruMind for trustworthy AI measurement & coaching. Previously, he founded LeaderAmp, an award-winning platform for expert and Artificially Intelligent coaching and assessment until May of 2022. In his 30 year career in multinationals (AT&T, Motorola, Merck and Infosys), Dr. Barney has written 4 patents, 11 books, 47 peer-reviewed works and over 200 keynotes. In 2020, LeaderAmp won the AI Award for Human Capital Development. In 2018, his team won competitive international awards from the Society for I-O Psychology and the Association of Test Publishers. Since 2014, he has served on the Business Affairs committee of the board of not-for-profit scientific publisher Annual Reviews. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa.
