Ruth Maxwell

Ruth’s thrilled to announce the release of her second novel, Beyond Those Turtle Blues. Read it as the sequel to The Broken Turtle Blues or as a stand-alone story. Her short story entitled “The Broken Buffalo” was published in Valley Voices: Passages - An Anthology of Central Colorado Writers in 1999. Both novels and the short story explore similar themes.

Ruth and her husband, along with their tuxedo cat and big-eared Chihuahua, live half the year in Ocean Shores, Washington, and the other half in Yarnell, Arizona.
