Joseph Barker

My name is Joseph Barker. I am 22 years old. I have always been incredibly passionate about telling stories, whether it is through spoken or written word. I mostly enjoy adventure novels at it has a certain aspect of escapism to it, which in the age of social media is a much needed release.

I started writing my first book just to pass the time whilst I was between jobs. I became so invested in the crafting of a story that I began to share it with my family and friends. They told me that I should try and get it out there for others to read. So here I am. My first book The Travelling Island is something I am very proud of and I look forward to crafting more stories for the world to read.
