DeWitt Clinton is the author of The Conquistador Dog Texts and The Coyot. Inca Texts (New Rivers Press), At the End of the War (Kelsay Books, 2018), On a Lake by a Moon: Fishing with the Chinese Masters (Is A Rose Press, 2020) Hello There (Word Poetry (2021), and six chapbooks. His poems and essays have appeared in the Journal of Inter-Religious Dialogue, Cultural Studies< => Critical Methodologies, Storytelling Sociology: Narrative as Social Inquiry, Divine Inspiration: The Life of Jesus in World Poetry (Oxford U Press), and recently in New Verse News, Anti-Heroin Chic, Love in the Time of Covid (New Zealand), Verse-Virtual, Poetry Pacific, American Writers Review, One Art, and Across the Margin. He is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater, and lives in Shorewood, Wisconsin.
