Lev S. Zevin

Prof. Lev S. Zevin dedicated his life to scientific research. He was an outstanding diffractionist, and the range of his knowledge and experience is reflected in the scope of his work on QXRD.

He was born in the former USSR in 1930 and started his career in Moscow. Later he moved to Israel, where he lived in Jerusalem with his wife and two children. He worked as a proffesor in The Institutes for Applied Research and Department of Materials Engineering Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva. He published many articles in the area of his experties of X-Ray Diffractomery throughout his career in Moscow and in Israel.

He passed away in 1993 in the midst of completing his book which was published two years later.
