Barbara Petty

Like her protagonist, Thea Browne, Barbara was born and raised in the Midwest. But she has lived most of her adult life on the two coasts, first in New York City and now in Los Angeles—with a stop along the way in Paris. It was during her studies in Paris that a seed was planted for her to become a writer. She has been a newspaper reporter, a magazine editor, a script supervisor for movies, and also written animation scripts for such shows as TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOE and MY LITTLE PONY. She has been a fan of mysteries ever since she read her first Nancy Drew, and now she loves writing them.
