Hey, I’m John Lewis — author, dreamer, and storyteller from Sumter, South Carolina. Writing has always been my way of turning pain into purpose and chaos into creation. What started as random ideas scribbled in notebooks has grown into full-blown stories, worlds, and characters that feel as real as family.

I’m passionate about urban supernatural drama, weaving together real-life struggles with spiritual mysteries, ancestral secrets, and moments of redemption. A lot of my inspiration comes from personal experiences, my roots, and the lessons life has forced me to learn the hard way.

When I’m not writing, I’m busy building Jay & Lay’s Tasteful Creation, a family-owned food business with my fiancée, Lay Lay. Together, we juggle life, love, entrepreneurship, and parenthood — and yes, sometimes the chaos spills into my books!

• I’m a proud Black author and entrepreneur on a mission to inspire and create generational wealth.

• I’ve always been fascinated by spiritual awakenings, reincarnation, and ancestral energy, and you’ll see those themes woven deeply into my writing.

• I believe in chasing big dreams, even when the odds are stacked against you.

My goal? To create stories that pull you in, make you feel, and leave you questioning what’s real and what’s possible. If you’ve ever had a near-death moment, a spiritual awakening, or just felt like you were meant for something greater, my books are for you.
