Sheryl McFarlane

Sheryl McFarlane is the author of 17 books for kids and teens with two more books forthcoming. Her books include the multi-award winning, Waiting for the Whales and best-selling, Jessie's Island. Her first young adult novel, The Smell of Paint, follows a track athlete who faces hurdles both on and off the track. It was awarded the Moonbeam Award for Young Adult Fiction in the U. S. and was a Best Books of the Year pick by the Canadian Children's Book Centre. Her most recent books include: I Love Kisses (Sourcebooks-Jabberwocky) and Island In the Salish Sea (Orca).
