Patsy J. Daniels

Patsy J. Daniels served as a Professor in the Department of English and Modern Foreign Languages at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi for eleven years. She was born in Middle Tennessee and educated at the University of Nebraska and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she developed her interest in critical theory and cultural studies.

For five years, Professor Daniels edited a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published at Jackson State University, The Researcher: An Interdisciplinary Journal, which accepts research articles from all disciplines for publication consideration. She retired from the university in 2015 and has been teaching literature and composition at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, Tennessee since then.
