Pat O'Reilly

Writer and environmentalist Pat O'Reilly has written some thirty books and numerous newspaper and magazine articles. His most recent novels are the Winding River Mysteries trilogy of trillers (Dead Drift, Dead Cert and Dead End); his other works of fiction include Harnessing the Unicorn (1998), the fantasy novel Frazzle (2014), and Anarchic Anthology (2024) – a collection of short stories.

Pat's hobbies include fly fishing, hiking, wildlife photography, and of course writing - both factual and fiction, while doing his best to separate the two.

Awarded the MBE in 2003 for his environmental work, Pat O'Reilly lives in North Wales with his wife Sue and far too many books. Pat and Sue are the authors of the 2500-page wildlife and ecology website First Nature.
