Jonathan Y. Stein

Jonathan (Yaakov) Stein is CTO at RAD Data Communications (Tel Aviv).

He holds BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

He lectures on DSP at Tel Aviv University, and in the past has lectured at various other universities.

He regularly participates in standardization forums, including the IETF, ITU-T, and MEF, and has penned numerous standards. He presently co-chairs the IETF TICTOC working group.

He has received the Israel Defense Award, Israel's highest award for defense-related research.

In addition to "Digital Signal Processing, a Computer Science Perspective" (Wiley : 2000), he has written papers on various topics in physics, communications, and DSP.
