Catherine Mann

Catherine Mann was the Editor-in-Chief of 'Teen Magazine in the early 1970's. She then joined the local CBS TV news team in Los Angeles and worked as a television journalist for thirteen years. She was the first Hollywood reporter for PM Magazine, had her own TV show in Detroit and was a Hollywood correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. She met her husband (actor Fred Grandy) when she interviewed him on the set of the Love Boat TV series. Catherine's third novel (Capitol Hill) was written in Washington, DC where Fred served in the House of Representatives (R-Iowa.) Catherine's novels resonate with the glitz and glitter of Hollywood, the intrigue and enigma of Washington, DC and the enormous challenges of surviving in either city. But Catherine's motto ("good girls finish first") underscores each and every plot.
