June Caldwell

*Room Little Darker* - June's acclaimed collection of short stories - was published by New Island Books in Ireland in 2017 and Head of Zeus, UK, in 2018. Her debut novel *Little Town Moone* is forthcoming from John Murray in 2020. Non-fiction/journalism includes: In Love With a Mad Dog (Gill and MacMillan, 2006) and a new Foreword to Nuala O'Faolain's Are You Somebody? (New Island Books, 2018). Fiction published in The Irish Times, The Long Gaze Back, The Stinging Fly, The Moth, Winter Papers, The Lonely Crowd, The Broken Spiral, and Reading The Future. She is a prizewinner of the Moth International Short Story Prize and has been shortlisted for many others: writing.ie Short Story of the Year, Calvino Prize in Fabulist Fiction, Colm Toíbín International Short Story Award, Lorian Hemingway Prize, and Sunday Business Post/Penguin Ireland Short Story Prize. June holds an MA in Creative Writing from Queen's University Belfast and a BA in Publishing & English from Middlesex University, London. She's represented by Emma Paterson at Aitken Alexander, and lives in Dublin.
