Maxwell E. Siegel

Maxwell E. Siegel is the author of three off-off-off-Broadway plays, several song lyrics contributed to Manhattan night-club revues, and two published novels: "Vibrations, or It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time" (Morrow) and "Central Park Underground" (Walker; Dell). His short pieces and casuals have appeared in Travel, The New York Times, The Wildean, The Shavian, Old-Time Detection, Calliope, and anthologized in "The Further Misadventures of Ellery Queen". He was also a part of the team that translated Yinshun’s "A Sixty-Year Spiritual Voyage on the Ocean of Dharma" from the Chinese. A native of Brooklyn, he now lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania, but a bit of his heart still lingers in and around Ebbets Field.
