David Brewster

David Brewster is a former corporate lawyer, specialising in complex cross border acquisitions in Sydney, Washington D.C., New York, London and Paris.

He is a Visiting Fellow with the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University, Senior Maritime Security Fellow with the Indian Council for Global Relations and a Fellow with the Australia India Institute, University of Melbourne.

David Brewster's research interests focus on Indian and Indian Ocean strategic affairs. He is currently completing a book on strategic dynamics of the Bay of Bengal.
