Brian Cook

Brian Cook is one of those guys who has never taken life too seriously. During much of his adult life, he could be found playing music or skydiving when he wasn't working for a living. Then one day, he decided to create a fictional character who had even more fun than him. On that day, Ditch McGillicuddy was born.

The first two books in the Ditch series are largely autobiofictional works based on events the author had either seen or experienced. Upon completion of those, Brian had caught the writing bug and went on to pen ten more installments in the Ditch McGillicudddy saga. Keeping the same characters throughout the series, his next three efforts are geared more toward crime dramas, while the five installments that follow delve into fantasy based on Norse mythology. The eleventh and twelfth Ditch adventures incorporate a parallel universe into the mix.

Though the twelfth installment completes the Ditch McGillicuddy series, there has been no word as to whether or not Brian has ditched writing to concentrate on other adventures. Only time will tell.
