Candida Crewe

Candida Crewe was born in London. She has written six novels (published by Collins, Heinemann and Century) as well as one work of nonfiction, Eating Myself, (Bloomsbury). Her fifth novel, Falling Away, was shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Memorial Award. Disapproval, her seventh novel, is her first for twenty-eight years.

She has also regularly written, since the age of eighteen, columns, features, interviews and book reviews for The Times and Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Evening Standard, The Financial Times, The Observer and many other magazines and periodicals. She won the Catherine Pakenham Award for Journalism. She was a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Oxford University.
