Carol O'Connor

Carol O'Connor was born in Boston, Mass and now lives in Liverpool UK. More than 30 years ago, she founded Vision in Practice Ltd. and teaches leadership, communication and team building to business leaders around the world. She is also a Visiting Lecturer at Bayes Business School in London where she teaches Negotiation to post-graduate students.

Her lifelong interest is education, inspired by a wish to support people to develop their potential. Although Carol bases her work on experience, this is supported by a PhD in educational psychology from the University of California.

Carol's eighth book is "Secrets of Great Leaders." Originally published in 2015 in Hodder Education's Teach Yourself series, it is now revised fully and published by John Murray, available 23 October 2025.
