Jane Wesman

Jane Wesman is committed to helping women grow their businesses. A successful entrepreneur herself, she heads Jane Wesman Public Relations, Inc., a public relations agency that focuses on the book publishing industry. She has worked with some of the country's top authors and thinkers, including many who write about women, leadership, and careers.

Honored by Business Journals as a woman of influence, Jane likes to say that "entrepreneurship is in my blood." She began her first business while still in school, quickly learning that being passionate about your work is the first step in creating a successful company. Knowing your customer is number two.

Over the years, Jane has coached many entrepreneurs. Most importantly, while president of the New York City chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, she developed a successful one-on-one mentoring program that supports women striving to grow their companies. She writes often on the topics of business, leadership, and marketing, and is a contributor to entrepreneur.com as well as other websites and publications, and has been interviewed widely on television and radio. Jane speaks regularly at seminars and conferences about the issues that confront women as they seek financial security, life balance, and independence.
