Albert M. Luongo

The following is information that influenced the down-to-earth style of writing of Albert M. Luongo. While growing up and spending much time on the street corners of Teaneck NJ, he had little interest in academics or his future. After graduating HS, life became boring and a dead-end for him. He needed a change, so he enlisted in the army. To earn extra pay he signed onto the 82nd Airborne and was later stationed in Panama. For the immature boy entering the army, life in the military soon began producing maturity. After his discharge he then spent over 15 college years going nights or days to the Universities of Fairleigh Dickinson in NJ and Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. He became a physicist and engineer and nearly completed an MBA program.

Prior to his current address in Cranston RI, he also lived in Ottawa Canada. He has visited Europe several times and had returned to Central America.

While in the army, and for 4 more years, he dated many young women, mostly from the NYC boroughs, before marring. Many years later, he spent another five years once again in the singles circuit. Many dates produced much needed new learning, as nothing came easy to him.

What has all of the above meant as a writer? He has learned to uncover facts, and discard commonly held false beliefs. His lifetime interests of human behavior developed the sort after self-confidence that he desired all his life. Thus he has the experience to write a wide-ranging eBook--DATING AND RELATIONSHIP COSTLY MISTAKES--it produces secrets only shared by experienced individuals.

The experiences in soccer resulted in complete understanding of the finer points of the game while gaining successes; thus, enabling him to write two comprehensive books and several blogs on important soccer topics. Much of the information is found nowhere else.

His interactions with people, both good and mischievous give him the background to write fiction with characters that have realistic personalities. His published eBook novel, YVETTE AND OTTO REUNITED is his first fiction book. He will follow this up with two more novels that are in the works.

His present interests are his extended family, writing, the stock market and his hybrid e-bike.

He has three sons, all of whom he trained as exceptional soccer players. He organized the Park Ridge NJ Soccer League with the help of Tony Mandic, still residing in Park Ridge. As an adult, he played, coached and refereed this sport for about 12 years. During this time he co-coached a 14 year old state championship team, with Ron Renzi of RI. And, also managed and co-coached an all Portuguese championship men's team with Liberto S.Timoteo former president of the Rhode Island Soccer Association and inducted into the Fox Point (RI) Soccer Hall of Fame.

During his 40 year career as an engineer, he taught physics at both Universities mentioned above, and tutored physics and mathematics. The remaining time, was spent in the private sector obtaining senior level and management positions. Although receiving several patents along with inventions, life in the business world should have theoretically been good; but in the reality of the “real world”, this is often not the case: These situations and a declining job market caused him to be constantly seeking new employment. Thus he has a realistic view of the business world. The business information in his book on Dating etc. is found nowhere else. He is still actively involved in engineering consultation.
