David Morris

David Morris is a Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University, Montreal. His philosophical work develops from long-stranding interests in biology, nature, science, and time, via phenomenological philosophy, with Maurice Merleau-Ponty as a central inspiration. His upcoming book, Merleau-Ponty's Developmental Ontology, is leading into a new project on time, meaning and nature. He is also interested in working on deploying phenomenological insights about time, perception and life in relation to building more livable and sustainable cities and neighbourhoods.
