Nick McDonell

Nick McDonell has written for TIME, Harper's, The New Yorker, The London Review of Books, and The Paris Review. He is author of the novels Twelve, The Third Brother, and An Expensive Education; a book of political theory, The Civilization of Perpetual Movement; and three books of reportage, The End of Major Combat Operations, The Widow's Network, and The Bodies In Person. He is a co-founder of the Zomia Center for the Study of Non-State Spaces.
