Eric H. Chudler

Dr. Eric Chudler went to elementary, junior and high school in a few places including Los Angeles, California for K to 4th grade, 7th grade and 11th-12th grades, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 5th-6th grade, and Kobe, Japan for 8th-10th grade. He graduated from UCLA (1980, B.S., Psychobiology) and from the University of Washington (1985, Ph.D., Psychology). From 1986 to 1989, Dr. Chudler trained at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, MD) and then in 1989 he took an instructor position in the Department of Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA). It was back to Seattle and the University of Washington in 1991 where he has been in a faculty research position (Department of Bioengineering and Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine). Dr. Chudler is also the executive director/education director at the Center for Neurotechnology at the University of Washington.
