Danuta Pfeiffer, the daughter of a Polish sculptor and an English nurse, immigrated to the United States from England just after WWII. Her first book, Watersafe Your Baby in One Week, became the definitive book on teaching water survival to infants. Her career as a journalist led her to a series of radio and television positions including co-hosting the CBS affiliate, KFMB's SunUp San Diego. She best known for her tenure as co-host of The 700 Club with Pat Robertson and her escape from fundamentalism detailed in her recent memoir, Chiseled, A Memoir of Identity, Duplicity and Divine Wine. Today, Danuta and her husband, Robin, share their love of wine with friends and family at their Pfeiffer Vineyards and Winery in Junction City, Oregon.
