"Complete Wing Chun" was named by Tuttle Publishing to be part of their "Complete... " series of books on Martial Arts. It was never meant to be "Complete", but rather an introduction back in 1997, on a then, obscure martial art, Wing Chun.

The original actual title was "The Definitive Guide to Wing Chun's History and Traditions", so the many comments and reviews here have proven the original title to be a better one, as originally planned. As co-author, as hindsight is 20-20, I would have omitted several chapters in the book. Perhaps I'll get around to it someday.

I may revise the work, and certainly omit those questionable branches of WCK. If I were to rewrite it, I'd include chapters on Yip Man WCK, Yuen Kay Shan WCK, Gu Lao WCK, Pao Fa Lien, Weng Chun, "Vietnam" WCK of Yuen Chai Wan, Yik Kam WCK, Yip Kin WCK, and focus on those.

20 years has passed by quickly, and the book certainly is a good start to learn about the myriad systems.
