Rodney Combs

Rodney's a writer, player-coach, speaker and fellow journeyer. He's worked with people and pastors around the world while being a pastor in Texas and Illinois for several decades. His primary mission is to be a useful guide to help as many people as possible experience and share the incredible life God has planned for them. If you don’t already know it, a remarkable journey with Jesus is waiting that leads to a simple, significant, and satisfying life.

Rodney loves Jesus but isn't into cheesy or passive Christianity. He uses "rugged Christianity" to describe the costly and rewarding discipleship the Bible describes. Jesus is the creator and King of the world, so he deserves our attention and lives. Plus, Jesus makes sense of our lives and helps us survive the mess and thrive in spite of ourselves.

Rodney's Ph.D. is in New Testament Studies. He also has an M.Div.Bl, and a Bachelors in Speech Communication from the great Baylor University. Sic 'em Bears!

His passion is communicating on stage and listening in person.
