Chris Quigg

Physicist, author, and lecturer Chris Quigg is Distinguished Scientist Emeritus at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. His research spans many topics in particle physics, from heavy quarks through cosmic neutrinos. His work on electroweak symmetry breaking and supercollider physics was recognized by the 2011 J. J. Sakurai Prize of the American Physical Society for outstanding achievement in particle theory. His current research focuses on experiments at CERN's Large Hadron Collider.

Grace in All Simplicity, with Robert N. Cahn, is his first book for a general audience.

Princeton University Press has done a nice service to lecturers by making all the figures from Gauge Theories of the Strong, Weak, and Electromagnetic Interactions available in digital form, so it will be easy to show data plots in class.
