Chris Schoeman

Chris Schoeman was born in Somerset East, South Africa, and was educated in History/Anthropology at the University of Port Elizabeth and in Historic Preservation at Colorado State University, USA. He has worked as an historian and journalist and has travelled extensively through the USA, the UK & Ireland, Europe, and Australasia. His publications include several books on the Anglo-Boer War, World War I and South African regional histories; he has also authored biographies on Sir Winston Churchill and Cornelis van Gogh, youngest brother of the famous Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, and some of Springbok rugby's top rugby legends.
