Robert E. Alvis

Raised in Sacramento, California, Robert E. Alvis earned his BA from the University of Virginia and his MA and PhD from the University of Chicago. He currently serves as academic dean and professor of church history at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. His research and writing focuses on the history of the Church in modern Central Europe.
