Mette Norgaard, Ph.D., has spent three decades working with senior leaders at the intersection of leadership, physiology, and philosophy. Her work begins where most leadership thinking stops — in the body, in the pause, in the quality of attention. She is the co-author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller TouchPoints, written with Doug Conant, former CEO of Campbell's. Leading with Aliveness is her most complete statement on leadership: meeting the moment as it is, not as we wish it to be.
Norgaard is the founder of Leading with Aliveness. She holds a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems and began her career as a physical therapist — the foundation that has shaped her understanding of leadership as an embodied practice. She is based in New York City and works with leaders worldwide.
