Ramsay Adams

Ramsay Adams is the co-author of the best selling book series "Music Supervision: The Complete Guide to Selecting Music for Movies, TV, Games, and New Media."- with David Weiss and Dave Hnatiuk (Schirmer/Music Sales). He is a film and television music supervisor, author, educator and advocate. He has worked as a Music Supervisor for television networks and was the Music Director of the Fox News Channel. He as been the music supervisor of many films including "Jihad for Love", "Heights" and "Justice". He created and taught the "Music Supervision" course at New York University's Center for Advanced Digital Applications and Ramsay was a music manager at Krebs Music Management working with bands including Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Richie Sambora and Chumbawamba. He was New Media Director at Fenton Communications working with organizations such as the ACLU and MoveOn.org. He is co-founder of MusicSupervision101.com, an online Music Supervision credited course. He Executive Produced the Woodstock Film Festival Official 2014 Selection 'Catskill Park' and is the founder and Executive Director of the Catskill Mountainkeeper, a regional advocacy organization. He is the Executive Director of Water Defense, an organization founded by Mark Ruffalo that advocates for clean water as a fundamental human right. He is a co-owner of Catskill Brewery - a craft brewery in Livingston Manor, NY. Ramsay lives in the Catskills, New York with his wife and two children.
