Werner J. Krieglstein

Werner Krieglstein is an internationally known scholar, actor, and director. He holds a doctorate from the University of Chicago and taught at the University of Helsinki, Finland, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, and the College of DuPage. Retired from teaching Krieglstein dedicates his life to writing, film making, and lecturing. As a professor, Krieglstein was given the Most Outstanding Teacher Award in 2003. In 2008, he received an award as a Distinguished Humanities Scholar by the Community College Humanities Association.

Krieglstein is a member of The Society for Midland Authors, course director at the Interuniversity Center in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and a board member of the International Society for Universal Dialogue. He is author of six books: The Dice-Playing God (UPA, 1992), Compassion, A New Philosophy of the Other, (Rodopi, 2002), Compassionate Thinking, An Introduction to Philosophy (Kendall Hunt 2006) Einstein’s Mistake (CreateSpace 2010), a SciFi novel, The Roots of Ethics (Kindle e-Book), and Panpsychism, Collective Orchestration, and the Power of Fields (Kindle e-Book). Krieglstein is an accomplished theater director and actor with international experience. He recently acted in the Polish film Light Denied (http://lightsdenied.com/)
