I'm a journalist in Washington, D.C., who has written, co-written or edited seven books. The subjects include nuclear waste, climate change, Congress and politics. I've been co-author of two editions of "The Almanac of American Politics" and the political dictionary Dog Whistles, Walk-Backs and Washington Handshakes: Decoding the Jargon, Slang and Bluster of American Political Speech."
